Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint essential oil is distilled from the leaves of the peppermint herb.  It is one of the most popular essential oils in the world.  Peppermint essential oil is energizing and cooling. Studies show that peppermint oil can improve concentration, alertness and energy. At the same time, peppermint oil alleviates stress, depression symptoms and mental exhaustion, making it a necessity to incorporate into your daily routine if work or everyday circumstances are stressing you out and depleting you of your energy.  It can improve your performance by helping decrease fatigue and tiredness. If you’re feeling like you need a quick boost of energy, place a couple of drops inside your diffuser and take some deep breaths to supply your body with exhilaration and vitality.

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass is a grassy plant that is often used in cooking and grows in tropical climates.  Lemongrass essential oil has a bright and refreshing citrus scent that inspires a positive outlook.   Lemongrass oil can contribute to giving someone relief from their anxiety or stressful environment.  It can combat lethargy, irritability, and nervousness in a person. It also boosts mental alertness and eliminates mental fatigue.  When utilizing lemongrass oil through a diffuser, it inspires freshness and gives the perception of a rejuvenated environment. It can immediately uplift one's mood and can help in eradicating negative and depressing attitudes or temperaments.

 

Rose Geranium Essential Oil

Rose Geranium essential oil comes from a geranium flower that smells strongly of roses.  When rose geranium oil is used in aromatherapy applications, the sweet, floral, citrusy subtlety of the aroma is known to have a soothing effect that promotes greater feelings of relaxation, emotional stability, and optimism. These balancing qualities are beneficial for those who may be suffering from fatigue, anxiety, nervousness, mental stress, or grief. Some people find that this oil has an energizing effect instead. Whether calming or energizing, it elevates a person's mood and promotes a positive mental and emotional well-being. 

Try making your own diffuser blend with any of these essential oils.  Start with one drop of each oil and adjust from there to achieve the desired scent that satisfies your personal preference.
